Welcome and thank you for taking the time to learn of an important
decision that must be made by voters in Harris County Precinct 3 early
next year. Mike Parrott and Tony Polumbo serve as our Justices of the
Peace in Precinct 3 serving as Place 1 and Place 2 respectively. Judge
Parrott (3-1) stands for election during the Presidential election years.
Judge Polumbo (3-2) stands for election during the election cycle for
Texas Governor. All residents of Precinct 3 vote for both Justice of the
Peace positions.
Judge Tony Polumbo is retiring next year, and I am running for election to
take his place. The district (Precinct 3) that our Judge covers is large
with over 260,000 registered voters. Communities included are Baytown,
Highlands, Channelview, Sheldon, North Shore, Crosby, Huffman, and the
North Forest ISD area around Highway 59 and Little York.
The first vote will not occur until the March primary of 2010, but the
campaign to introduce myself and build support over such a large and
diverse area started in January 2009 and will not stop until Election Day.
